Wipes made with 99% water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract are now available in retailers nationwide

WaterWipes, winners of the 2017 Family Choice Awards, announced that they are now available throughout the U.S. and are the only wipes made with just two ingredients – 99.9% water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract. WaterWipes was founded by a concerned dad, Edward McCloskey, now chief executive officer of WaterWipes, who was looking for a better, chemical free solution for his daughter’s diaper rash. After five years of research, he developed a breakthrough technology and patented water treatment process. The result is a softer wipe with just two ingredients, that is more convenient than applying water with a washcloth. The wipes are manufactured in a cleanroom environment in a pharmaceutical-grade certified facility and produced in a sterile package. As one of the most well-known and loved baby wipe brands in Ireland and the U.K., WaterWipes now brings that same pure promise to the U.S. with availability in retailers nationwide. Twenty-five percent of children get diaper dermatitis, and infants are more susceptible because their skin is less developed – making the choice of baby wipes important for their health and comfort WaterWipes are hypoallergenic, non-irritating to the skin, and may help prevent the cause of diaper rash. “We know parenting is stressful, especially for first time moms and dads and there’s a pressure to know what baby products to use and how to keep their baby safe,” says Christophe Bernigaud, vice president of WaterWipes Americas. “Many baby products claim to be made with pure and natural ingredients, but parents should read the labels and know what they are putting on their baby. With WaterWipes, there is one less thing to worry about because they know exactly what is going on their baby’s delicate skin.”
